Living Lab:

Terre Biologiche Veronesi

Veneto region, Italy

Terre Biologiche Veronesi is an officially recognised organic district in the Veneto region, Italy. Established in 2019, it brings together farmers, processors, restaurants, retailers and private citizens to promote organic agriculture and strengthen cooperation across the local food system.

The Living Lab works in a region where agriculture has traditionally been intensive and organic production remains limited. Its ambition is to support a gradual transition towards more sustainable practices, while strengthening local value chains, protecting biodiversity, and building more resilient communities.

Its activities include training, public events, farm-to-table initiatives, and collaboration with local authorities on sustainability topics. By connecting producers and consumers, it encourages knowledge exchange and supports the creation of value within the province of Verona.
